Joanne Chang (pictured above) plans on baking pecan pie for Thanksgiving—actually, make that 75 pecan pies. (And you thought you had holiday stress!) She is one of 150 Boston-area chefs taking part in Pie in the Sky, one of the biggest charity bake sales in the country. How big? Last year, nearly 16,000 pies were sold, raising $550,000 to support Community Servings, a local nonprofit that delivers meals to the critically ill and homebound. "As chefs, we'd love to feed everyone possible," says Chang. "This is a way for us to help those who don't have as much."
