1 Tbsp butter
3/4 tsp ground cumin
3/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup pecans
1/2 cup whole blanched almonds
1 cup walnuts (or cashews)
1 tsp sea salt

Makes 2 cups
1. In a medium skillet, melt butter over low heat. Add spices and sauté for 2 minutes. Stir often so they don’t burn. Add the nuts and stir to coat.
2. Saute the nuts for 10 minutes or until they are crisp and nicely browned.
3. Spread on a layer of parchment paper, sprinkle with salt, and allow to cool.
Cook’s note: You can store these for up to a week, tightly covered.
