Frozen vegetables help save time when preparing this delightful pasta dinner on a weeknight. This dish has six main ingredients; staples to have on hand include olive oil, butter, salt, pepper and cooking spray.

ingredients: Add all to shopping list
12 oz bow-tie pasta
2 tsp chopped garlic
1 (10-oz) bag frozen Italian-style vegetables
1 1/3 cups chicken broth
3 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
directions:

1. Cook pasta until al dente; drain.

2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, sauté garlic in 2 Tbsp olive oil for 30 seconds. Add vegetables and broth. Reduce heat and cook for 8 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.

3. Stir in pasta, 2 Tbsp basil, and ¼ cup Parmesan. Transfer to serving bowl. Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp basil, ¼ cup Parmesan, and salt and pepper to taste.
