Use this
Basic Cookie Dough recipe as the base for these moist, chocolate-cherry cookie bars
ingredients: Add all to shopping list
½ batch Basic Cookie Dough (see link above), at room temperature
½ cup dried cherries, chopped
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray an 8-inch square pan with cooking spray.
2. Knead the dough slightly to soften. Knead in the cherries, white chocolate chips, and semisweet chocolate chips. Press mixture into pan.
3. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until set. Cool slightly. Cut into 16 bars. Cut each bar in half on the diagonal.
