Abracadabra! I did a little magic and made these cupcakes virtually guiltless!
Made with a just a few ingredients – a boxed cake mix, Greek yogurt, water and egg whites–no oil or butter needed. The icing is a lightened-up cream cheese frosting.
These witch hat toppers are so inexpensive and easy to make, and they turn any cupcake into an instant Halloween treat. They're made by using mini cupcake liners for the base of the hat and regular sized cupcake liners for the top. Simply fold the mini cupcake liner in thirds, then snip the end to create a hole in the center. Take the larger cupcake liner and fold it in half, then in half again which creates a cone shape. Insert the cone threw the hole of the base of the hat. Presto, a witches hat!
