Fun Halloween treats cannot get anymore simple than these spooky, chocolately bats made of dougnut holes, chocolate cookies, marshmallows and slivered almonds. The best part is, these are so easy to make that you can set out all of the required ingredients (cut the cookies and the marshmallows first) and let the kids assemble goofy-looking bats of their own. The trick to making them especially cute is in the eyes. Use black gel icing or food-safe markers to give each bat its own signature, googly-eyed gaze.

Ingredients:
Chocolate doughnut holes
Round chocolate cookies, cut in half (we used cookie sandwiches)
Mini marshmallows, cut into slices
Black gel icing
Almond slivers
Directions:
1. To make the wings: Carefully press a chocolate cookie half into each side of the doughnut hole.
2. To make the eyes: Using black gel icing, attach two marshmallow slices to the doughnut hole. Make a black dot in each marshmallow to make the bat's pupils.
3. For the fangs: Beneath the marshmallow eyes, carefully press two almond slivers into the doughnut hole to make the bat's fangs.
