Get Perfect Smokey Flavor on a Gas Grill
Turn your grill into a smoker! Achieve deep smokey flavor on your home gas grill with this simple trick from Chef Jon Ashton. Watch the video to learn how it's done!


Transcript:

"How can you turn a gas grill into a smoker?" –Tracy M., via email
1. Take your favorite chips, and soak them for about 30 minutes in water and let them get nice and wet.
2. Take a 20-inch piece of foil and place the chips in the center. Then just bring up the sides of the foil and fold it over until it's all sealed.
3. Turn the package over and make some holes with a fork or knife–it doesn't matter how you make them.
4. This package can now go straight on the gas grill, or into your charcoal grill. Do this and you'll have the perfect smoked food.
