Here's a super simple and easy way to have fun with the kids on Thanksgiving Day. While the turkey is in the oven and the kids are looking for something to do, have them make their own completely edible place settings! Yet another product of time spent in the snack food aisle, this treat was inspired by a craft I remember making as kid. Learn how to make these adorable Teepee Cones with your kids this Thanksgiving by watching the video below.

To make these, you'll need:
Sugar cones
Chocolate icing
Coconut, dyed green
Pretzel sticks
Gel icing
Step 1
Cut the top off a sugar cone using clean kitchen scissors, and then spread chocolate icing around the base of the sugar cone.
Step 2
Roll the base of the cone in a bowl of shredded coconut that's been dyed green. (This is to create the grass around the teepee.)
Step 3
Fill the hole of the top of the teepee with more chocolate icing, and place two or three pretzel sticks in the top to create the teepee's beams.
Step 4
Use black or brown gel icing to draw an opening for the teepee. Your kids can also decorate the sides with personal designs -- or even add their initials.
